2009 contest is over, thanks for all who were involved!

The seventh Octopus Mobile Application Contest is about to begin. Again, the contestants have a chance to win study credits and lots of great prizes, totalling 9,000 euros in cash. Furthermore, the winning team wins a trip to a mobile conference abroad.

In the Octopus Mobile Application Contest, student teams must design and implement an innovative mobile application that has business potential. The teams can freely choose the topic of the application, platform, programming language and technology.

The competition starts now, and the finished application must be submitted by 2 May, 2009. The final round will be held at Oulu at the end of May, 2009. The top eight teams will be invited to participate in the final round.
